ACT-ive Play: Using Improvisational Games to Reinforce ACT Concepts and Skills with Groups
Explores the benefits of utilizing improvisational games to teach and reinforce skills related to openness, awareness, and engagement. We operationally define those skills, play games that strengthen each skill, and even learn how to build games to fit individual contexts.
ACT-ing Flexibly: Using Acceptance and Commitment Training in your behavioral analytic practice. For real.
For behavior analysts who say "Yeah I've heard of it, but I still don't know what it means to *do* ACT." We look at the functional components and reinforcement contingencies nestled inside the concepts of flexibility and inflexibility. No Hexaflexes allowed in this presentation (sorry, Steve Hayes)!

Problem Solving Using Acceptance and Commitment Training
Grab a pen and some index cards. It's time to solve some problems! In this presentation, we walk through the components of the ACT Matrix to help us identify how to work through challenges in functionally-aware and values-focused ways. Participants leave with individualized Action Plans to tackle a current professional challenge.

A Spoonful of Sugar
"For every job that must be done, there is an element of fun..."
But it's not always easy to find that fun, especially when there is so much of a job to do. Together, we explore individual preferences for "fun," and practice how to weave those preferences throughout a client's session.

Doing What Matters
Providing direct service is difficult. RBTs juggle many moving parts beyond running programs, and many of those parts are beyond their control. In this presentation, we will identify our individual values and strengths, and explore how to use them to solve day-to-day problems.

Making a Move
In this presentation, we simplify functions of behavior into two categories: "Toward" and "Away" moves. We explore examples of our own "toward" and "away" moves and practice identifying these moves in our clients. By becoming more aware, we get to move away from the confusion of terminology and toward more collaborative experiences with our teams.
